During our research for a DJ and photographer, we came across Minnesota Pro DJ. We were impressed with all of the services they offered. The package bundling was helpful and made it easier to find a good deal. After comparing some other companies, we decided to go with them so we were able to bundle the DJ and photographer. We had DJ Val, she was nice and helped to keep our timeline. She played what we had requested for the ceremony and kept the dance floor full throughout the night. Racheal was our photographer and she knew what she was doing. She was very helpful with picture ideas and knowing how to arrange everyone. She worked well with everyone in our family as well as the guests. Overall the experience was great. Dave was very helpful in giving us information and assisting us throughout the process. We would recommend them to anyone looking to book.

My husband and I hired this company for our September wedding and upon hiring them was surprised with how friendly Dave was in the process of getting the first initial plans going but was unsure of what to expect because we hadn’t met either the DJ we hired or the photographer. Dave chose Scott as a DJ for us and Jacob as a photographer and I can honestly say we were beyond happy and satisfied with the work that both of them put in to make our wedding day smooth and fun! Our photographer brought along a trainee who did a great job as well as a drone to take some pics from above which is way cool! He definitely exceeded my expectations and then some! He even stayed a little later then planned to photograph some of our late night shenanigans! Our DJ Scott was great about coordinating with me and playing all the music that I had desired as well as helping keep us on track with things like grand march, speeches, and first dances. I was SO nervous to hire a dj I had never listened to before - and I cannot express how happy I was with Minnesota Pro DJ, now Wedphoria! Even my dad could not stop talking about how great the dj was and how not once did everybody leave the dance floor... and my dad is extremely critical of djs. The dj "Val" and all members of Minnesota Pro DJ, now Wedphoria kept in close contact with us prior to the wedding and promptly replied to all emails and phone calls! On the day they showed up on time, played the best music, and even helped my sister-in-laws sing a duet with their microphones and background music. The dj was nothing but wonderful, she was so nice and professional, she didn't play the music too loud or too quiet, and her dj skills were superb! I simply cannot rave about Minnesota Pro DJ, now Wedphoria enough!!! If you go with any other dj for your wedding you are truly missing out! After many hours of research, I happen to stumble upon WedPhoria! I needed an all day photographer, all day videographer, DJ for 8 hours and a photobooth. I am beyond satisfied with WedPhoria! It was so easy! Dave Ley was always available to answer any questions I had and was so easy to work with. Such a blessing, especially with all the stress planning a wedding can bring on. Rachel, our photographers, was absolutely amazing!!!!!! My wedding party, husband, many guests and I really enjoyed working with her. She was so relaxed but knew how to get the many photos I wanted done and stayed with us the entire day!!!! She was beyond exceptional! The photos she took are so beautiful and I am so glad we had the opportunity to work with her. I am so excited to show our wedding photos for many, many years. Rachel is incredible. Sam, our videographer was great! Most of the time, we didn't even notice that him and his assistant were even there! He made such a beautiful highlight video and fully edited video, it made my husband I and so happy to be able to relive our wedding day. (Received the video a couple weeks ago and have watched it 18 times so far.) I am so thankful that we were able to gift our parents a DVD too and both sides had had so many compliments. James Riley, our DJ, was flipping fantastic!!!! He knew that we didn't especially like a kind of music and definitely played it spread out when our guests requested it. He had such a great voice and knew how to keep the tunes going! It's so hard to keep everyone inside on July 1st since it was a gorgeous evening out but it didn't matter to him. He was a pleasure to work with! Our photobooth attendant was wonderful as well. She even reminded my husband and I to take pictures in the booth. She was very fun to work with and everyone loved the booth!

I planned my entire wedding and booked different companies 100% based on reviews from other people so I feel I need to write a review based on our experience to help other people planning! From the moment I contacted Dave everything was EASY. A quick easy LOW down payment to save your date was all they needed which made me feel comfortable in case we hit any bumps and wanted to change companies I didn't feel I was out a bunch of money. Fortunately after booking my day the thought of changing companies never crossed my mind. Also, only compared to one other company who also had very good reviews- the price point of Minnesota pro DJ was much more reasonable! I filled out an online planner that covered every detail! I ended up changing things multiple times but it was never an issue for Dave. Every time I messaged him he responded FAST and was friendly. We even changed our first dance song just days before the wedding, and again, it was no problem for them! It definitely helps when you're in crazy bride mode trying to make sure everything is in line to have a company respond fast and take care of things for you. We got set up with DJ BOB. Now as most people can agree a DJ can literally make or break your night! HE MADE THE NIGHT! He was dressed nice, personality was great- so funny and friendly! He really listened, walked around and talked to guest and made sure the night went PERFECTLY. I literally can't say enough good things. I HIGHLY recommended this company and DJ BOB!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Scott, our DJ. I had read so many reviews about brides booking with DJ companies where you didn't find out your specific DJ until the week of and it was so hit and miss depending on your actual DJ, so I was hesitate about booking with a company versus an individual. But the package was too much of a deal to pass up. Then this was not the case at all as Scott was amazing!!! He checked in with us through the night, keep the party going and the dance floor packed, and really went above and beyond to make our day special. We can't thank him enough!

WedPhoria was amazing! We worked with Dave Ley and Andru Cairl to set everything up. We needed a DJ for both the ceremony and the reception, and we also wanted a photobooth. Our DJ, Andru, was perfect. His timing was on point. The music selection varied from R&B to hip hop to country line dancing. We had so much fun dancing. And the photobooth, run by Bobbi, was a hit! We have so many great pictures in the album they provided. Andru and Bobbi were an awesome team. I'm definitely going to recommend that anyone else use their services. :)

My wedding was on 11/8 and I just wanted to let you know that Scottie did a spectacular job DJ-ing that night. I had at least 10 people come up to me throughout the night and say what an excellent variety the DJ was playing and that they've never seen a dance floor so full because the DJ kept people on the floor. 

You guys have an awesome coordination system to get all the details correct before the wedding. I'm really impressed with how everything worked out!

I loved these guys! I planned a lot of things last minute and within a week of my wedding, they booked me, arranged everything, and even got me a last minute projector for a video my husband made. The DJ played the appropriate music during the early stages of the reception for family and kids and then brought on more of a party atmosphere for that late party go-ers. We had so much fun! The reception was in a backyard in a suburban neighborhood and the volume was kept at a reasonable level all evening. They did not hassle me with a bunch of advertisements through social media or phone calls, as they only asked for a review through email, which was nice. They are professional, thoughtful, time efficient, and good people. BOOK THEM! :)

MN Pro DJ played a huge roll in making our wedding ceremony happen. Our venue was an old church, which had no in-house sound set-up. We needed the ability to incorporate music from both our Macbook and from a live band. Dave, and WedPhoria made it happen! They not only had all of the equipment we needed, but our DJ worked with us to fine tune all of the small details. He was even present at our rehearsal to make sure all of the processional choreography and music blended together. The ceremony went great and the sound was amazing! Several weeks before the wedding we met casually with Dave and Andru; our actual DJ for the wedding. We sat down went over everything and gave them a list of songs that were important to us and wanted to make sure they were played that evening. They were both truly amazing in accomadating all of our requests. When the wedding day finally arrived, Andru was all set up and ready to go, he met us outside to finalize everything for the big grand march. Throughout the evening he was very interactive informing all of our guests about songs that were about to be played. He had people on the dance floor from the beginning to the end-our guests came out and danced first few songs and never left. I was able to dedicate a few songs to a few special people and even was able to sing a song to my groom. Whenever something would come up and he would have a question-he would find us and run it by us and asked us what we would like him to do. All evening we kept getting compliments on how great the dj was and that our wedding was the funnest wedding they have been to in a long time. At the end of the reception-we couldn't thank him enough-we were all so impressed. I would highly recommend this DJ Service!!!

Good price, good services! My dj (Val) accommodated us very well! We had her for our reception and also our outdoor ceremony right out back.  Instead of moving all the equipment to the ceremony site like we planned, she made it work so it didn't have to go far and we didn't get charged the extra money.  She also started a bit earlier than originally planned, as our photographers were scheduled to leave.  Because of this, we got all of our first dances captured.  She had some great suggestions for games, the music was perfect and people stayed on the dance floor all night.  That was exactly what we had hoped for. Also, response time for booking, the event, and all questions we had was incredibly fast.  Dave (the owner) was very helpful in helping us with this process. We used Wedphoria for the photography and DJ at our wedding, and also added in the photo booth as part of our package. All three were exactly as expected, was nice to have them combined as it made planning and coordinating everything easier. I like the fact that the photographs are all ours to do what we want with them, this made everything more cost effective and also made it easier to share our pictures with friends and family. I was hesitant to do the photo booth at first but I am glad that we did, everyone had a lot of fun with it. Dave had a lot of good suggestions ahead of time and was well prepared as well as flexible with any last minute ideas we had, you can tell he has a lot of experience with weddings.

After talking to Dave we knew that they were the company we wanted to DJ our daughters party. He was professional, knowledgeable and accommodated all of our requests. We had an outdoor wedding, and reception in a tent in Alexandria, MN. We found Dave/WedPhoria on the internet when planning and gave him a call. After talking with him he seemed like a good fit so we sent him our PayPal deposit (very convenient) right away. Dave was very professional, answered all of our questions, and even made a special trip to Alexandria a month before the wedding in order to go over a few things, as well as evaluate the electrical capabilities of where the reception was being held since this was the first wedding ever had there. This was a huge help and stress reliever. He answered all of our questions, and they were able to accomodate all of our requests, including providing a microphone and music for the actual ceremony as well as the reception.

After the ceremony, he had to move all of his equipment from the ceremony up to the reception site in order to play some background music for the cocktail hour. We didn't even notice him moving his stuff, and he was playing music again faster than we could have hoped.

We had originally planned to announce the grand march ourselves, but changed last minute (literally, maybe 5 minutes before) and decided to have Dave announce. We also changed our fist wedding party dance song last minute as well. Dave was great with all the last minute changes and it was just a huge relief that he was willing to do whatever he needed and could to help our day be perfect.

Song selection at the reception was awesome. We had multiple compliments that they played such a great variety of music, and Dave did an awesome job keeping people on the dance floor. It was packed all night. Apparently someone at our reception made a list of almost 20 songs that were all one genre, and Dave had noticed that whenever songs similar to ones on the list were played, everyone seemed to leave the dance floor. He approached us and suggested that he maybe mix in a few here and there rather than playing them all, so we definitely appreciated him paying attention to what was working and what wasn't, rather than just hanging out and not caring how much fun everyone was having.

Dave had to leave (he told us well before the wedding day) about halfway through the dance for a personal commitment, and the person who came and replaced him (Andru) from WedPhoria did just as awesome of a job, and was willing to stand on a table at the end of the night and take a picture of everyone who stuck it out the whole time.

For such a random discovery of WedPhoria, we just googled DJ's in MN, we couldn't be happier to have landed on Dave/WedPhoria. Dave was a huge help with everything, did everything we asked, and just did an all around fantastic job. My bride and I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND using WedPhoria to any/everyone that we can. Great Job all around.

Dave was totally helpful from the very beginning & he picked a great DJ for the event. Thank you Allison!! She had a wide variety of music & played songs based on the crowd. We had WedPhoria for an event in our apartment community which houses about 956 college age students.  This event was partnered with one of our other properties in the area which increased the number of individuals who would potentially be at the event.  Dave and his DJ Gabe were so very friendly and professional.  The music was awesome and even had a large number of people dancing and having a fantastic time.  The photo booth was a hit! There were a lot of awesome props to choose from and the participants really seemed to have a blast.  There were lines at times of people waiting to get in and have their chance.  I liked that there was the option of receiving the pictures digitally where we could access them online and anyone who had their picture taken was provided a link where they could go to get their picture and post on social media.  Dave also took random pictures of the event which was an added pleasant surprise!  They were wonderful and if we have an event in the future I would love to have them here again!

I am writing to recommend Luke Brown as a DJ for any event. Luke recently DJ’ed our middle school’s fall dance. The students were very happy with the music and variety he selected. I also noticed he did a good job of keeping a good flow of the song selection and keeping the students moving on the dance floor. As the school is diverse in languages and cultures, he played music that appealed to each group, but kept them all happy. I also noticed he had a professional manner in his work: he verified details, considered the appropriateness of songs’ language, was prompt, had all necessary equipment and there were no problems to iron out. He did a good job of interacting with the students during the music, and did not just play the song and sit back and wait until the next one, but made sure the levels and such were correct. Although I don’t know much about playing music, I do know what makes for a good party, and our students did enjoy themselves greatly!

Our DJ, James Reily was excellent. These guys are amazing! We were working with a three-week timeline and they got back to us as soon as I sent the first e-mail. They worked with us to make our day perfect, even though we were super picky! It rained the entire day and Scott was supposed to be working outside. He still worked with us! What could they improve on?: I have no suggestions! The entire process was great. We felt comfortable with Dave right from the start. I walked into another DJ interview after Dave's knowing that it was a waste of time because we liked Dave & WedPhoria so much! Very personable.

Wow! What a great party! We recently attended a wedding in which Minnesota Pro DJ was providing awesome music. The bride and groom are both great dancers and the DJ played the music that made them “pop”! Clearly, he listened to the bride and groom's requests and provided music that made the night very special. I don’t think one song was played without anyone dancing! In fact, the music got everyone dancing! From the little nieces and nephews to grandma great and her new beau! I understand the bride and groom had a very unusual request with a very unique song and somehow, the DJ found it and was able to play it! I just don’t remember the last time I was at a reception that I had as much fun. Oh, what a night! New memories and good times!

Dave set up the sound system for our wedding ceremony and was our DJ for the reception. I'm very thankful that he took the time and had the patience to come out for the rehearsal the day before for the ceremony sound -- not that there were any problems, but just because it was comforting to know we were able to hook everything up properly.

Dave had the perfect attitude. He was very easy going, and he knew how to adapt to situations. My reception was indoor/outdoor, and the beginning of the dance was pretty much just kids dancing because all of the adults wanted to be outside. Dave switched the music appropriately so the kids could have fun on the dance floor. Then when the adults came in to dance he switched things up again. I was very pleased.

He also had to set up extra speakers for the reception which ran outside since I had people out in a tent. I was worried about if they'd be able to hear speeches, but I heard from guests out there that they could hear perfectly. Dave did a great job.

I would recommend WedPhoria to anyone. They have reasonable prices, great service, and the perfect attitude.

Just wanted to let you know what a great job you did with sound at the wedding on Saturday! People said the piano/flute combo came through clearly at the ceremony. I was also impressed that you didn't crank the music up too high at the dance. Even when I was the age of the bride and groom and friends, I couldn't stand music that was so loud that people couldn't talk without absolutely shouting. So it was the most pleasant wedding dance I have attended in a long time, including those of my two daughters!

Anyway, just wanted you to know that we all appreciated your services. My sister, the mother of the bride, give your card to the Bugbee Hive owners, and suggested they refer others to you, especially as you know the layout, and did such a great job setting up speakers outdoors.

My husband and I got married on December 4, 2010, and our DJ Zack Perlman was the highlight—in fact, one of the VERY BEST aspects—of our wedding! The most important thing to both my husband and I regarding our wedding was that the dance floor be packed throughout the entire evening. We made sure to cut the cake before the dancing began, and get all the toasts out of the way at the beginning of the night too just so that we wouldn’t have to stop the music for anything once it started. We told Zack to play a mix of music, and left the selection solely up to him. Wow, did he do a fabulous job! He managed to get every single last guest up out of their seat and onto the dance floor –and he then accomplished the true feat that I’m sure many DJ’s struggle with: with his ability to read the crowd and choose the perfect mix of songs, Zack kept our guests on the dance floor all night long! The energy was great, and our friends and family (who, by the way, all commented on how awesome our DJ was) danced until close to 2 a.m.! After the wedding, both my husband and I commented that our wedding would not nearly have been the same without Zack. He fulfilled our dream of maintaining a steady flow of good music, making sure our guests were having the time of their lives and dancing all night, and keeping the dance floor packed from the beginning of the evening through the end. Because of Zack, we had the wedding of our dreams. We are SO happy we chose Zack to be our DJ and would recommend him to absolutely anyone! Thank you!

My son was married last weekend at the Graves 601 Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. I am the mother of the groom.  One of the most important objectives for my son and his bride-to-be was that people dance non-stop throughout the evening.  We not only hired a band, but we also hired Zack Perlman to DJ during the time the band was on break so there would be constant dancing.
 
I was amazed at the result…people not only remained on the dance floor when the band stopped playing and Zack began to play, but more people rushed the dance floor to dance! Zack's choice of music was wonderful…he played music that all age groups liked. Long after the band stopped playing for the night, Zack continued to play and the dance floor remained packed until we finally called it a night. Not too loud that you couldn't talk at the back of the room but loud enough for everyone to have a good time.
Our DJ was very helpful and offered for us to call or email at any time with questions. Our DJ contacted us to go over our playlists, etc.  Our DJ was also very friendly both before the event and at the event! We really enjoyed our DJ. He actually DJ'ed at my sister's wedding in October and we specifically requested him for our wedding as well.  We were very happy!

Tony was awesome!  he did a really really really great job.  We're so glad he was able to do our wedding. It was great to not have to worry about a thing when it came to the music and equipment, etc.
