The Friendly Buffalo has something for everyone to enjoy! Beyond our large, unique menu, The Friendly Buffalo hosts a variety of events and activities all week long. The facility features several bar areas, a family friendly restaurant, special event areas for parties, corporate meetings, weddings, holiday parties and a variety of other special events in the Big Lake, Elk River, Minnesota area. The Friendly Buffalo hosts all types of events from small birthday parties to large Weddings. Sports leagues include, darts, pool, horseshoes, bean bags and volleyball. Indoor and outdoor seating area are available as well!

The Friendly Buffalo caters and hosts events of all sizes. The event center can seat over 280 guests and is the perfect spot to host weddings, corporate events, meetings and parties.

Kitty and I were very pleased with the way our wedding turned out. Dave really went above and beyond our expectations, and because of him, the wedding was a total success. Our DJ cancelled a couple of days before the wedding, via text, and Dave was able to take care of it without a hitch. Carlos Creek Winery began offering its unique sites for weddings in 2008. There are several locations throughout our property, featuring settings suited to all wedding sizes. Carlos Creek Winery is located on 160 acres with 12 acres devoted to vines and 15 dedicated to apples. Our grounds and buildings also make ideal settings for your wedding, groom's dinner, or corporate event. Our event arena is 20,000 square feet, and can easily accommodate groups of 400 or more.
